Back in July we set ourselves a target of getting a MoneyWell release out with a functioning sync system by the end of the year. We said at the time that we were hesitant to mention a date publicly, because despite it being a target, people like to hold us to these things, and we had quite a bit of debate internally about whether it was the right thing to do.
Sadly we’re not going to meet that target. We are, however, continuing to make excellent progress on sync, and are both optimistic and excited about the opportunities this will open up for MoneyWell.
We understand many of you may be frustrated with the time this is taking. We are too. Thank you for your patience. We’re working as hard as we can to make sure the wait is as short as possible, but we aren’t going to release it until it’s ready.
We’ve had a number of people contact us to let us know they’d be prepared to beta-test the sync update when we get to that point. Until now we’ve been manually collecting people’s e-mail addresses. In the new year, we’re going to publish a survey to collect a little more information, to help us launch the beta program. We don’t yet have dates for when a version of MoneyWell will be available for beta-testing. We’ll let you know as soon as we have more to share.
As always, if you need help, support or have discovered a problem with MoneyWell, please contact us via our support site or by emailing us on firstname.lastname@example.org. This is the fastest and best way to get a good response.
